In the jungle land behind Donga and Takun and Wukari a group of farmers from the same kindred are working on their farms. Suddenly, a thick cloud of smoke towers into the sky on the horizon, signaling the beginning of war. The conflict is orchestrated by a senator who has lost his sixth election bid to retain his seat in the National Assembly after twenty-four years.
The senator, convinced that the strangers on the land who are farmers have collaborated with the opposition party to deny him victory, hires mercenaries to kill and destroy their properties. Nothing is to be spared: domestic animals, mango and orange trees, their huts, and corrugated iron sheet houses are all marked for destruction.
But then, a lady emerges…
